Knocknarea – This is a walk that can be quite strenuous, but it is popular as the beautiful views that you are rewarded with are outstanding. On this walk you will also see the burial site of Maeve, the fairy queen.
Benbulben Forest – If you love to be in the woods, then this is the walk for you. It isn’t steep so is a great choice for families or those who are not as mobile. As well as the beautiful trees, you will be able to see the table-top mountain and Sligo bay.
Glencar Waterfall – This is a popular walk and of course it includes a visit to the stunning waterfall. You can also walk from the fall to a higher pint which offers picturesque views over Glencar Lough.
