Exercise in Older Age Groups

Despite the growing number of people who have started to exercise in older age, there are still a few preconceptions regarding physical activity which hinder its acceptance among the older generation. The belief that physical activity is only for the young is one of these preconceptions. Studies have shown that physical activity is not only an age-appropriate activity but it is also one of the most effective ways to remain mentally and physically fit, improve one’s self-esteem, relieve stress, improve one’s well-being, and manage one’s weight. It is also a way to develop a sense of community if you join with others who live in Park Homes like the ones from Park Home Life, you can then develop a social aspect to your exercise.
